I conduct two types of lessons: private lessons, which are generally one-on-one and cost money, and public lessons, which are free.
FREE PUBLIC LESSONS A public music lesson may be a one-on-one lesson that lasts an hour or two. It may be a brief one-on-one lesson, and then the opportunity to apply that lesson to a larger, dynamic group setting. Sometimes there'll be other master musicians. Sometimes there'll be other beginners. There's usually at least one other person, who may be trying to learn what you're learning or trying to learn something completely different. I'll do my best to give everyone at least a slice of my whole attention pie. Free music lessons are currently held Wednesdays from 3 pm - 5 pm in front of 117 Bimini Place, in the Koreatown/Rampart Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. PRIVATE LESSONS I charge $45 for a 45-minute lesson if there is no extensive travel involved (more than 3 miles). Additional costs will depend on the distance travelled and feasible transit options. If you'd like to contact me about private lessons, please use the contact form. |
